Premier Greens started in 2020 with hopes of selling a few backyard putting greens on the side of an already successful golf course construction company. In 2021 Nic Barton, the current owner, along with his wife, Becca decided to take a leap of faith and purchase the business acting as owner and operator ever since. Nic’s background in irrigation and beautification landscaping was a perfect transition into the synthetic golf green sector. Nic and Becca, along with business partner Jason Schutlz (former PGA tour player) operate the day to day business including sales, installation and everything in between. Nic and Jason have a passion for building golf greens that can be used year round by a wide range of customers from PGA players to the dads wanting their kids to be able to learn the game of golf in their own backyard.
Nic and Jason strive for perfection in every green they build and it is their goal to make the customers dreams come into reality by creating greens that look like they belong there. They are building something different than anyone else is in the DFW metroplex and beyond.
Their two most notable projects being ‘The Ronny’ synthetic golf park located at Northern Texas PGA headquarters adjacent to the PGA Headquarters in Frisco and they are in the process of finishing up a synthetic practice facility at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. Both projects are around 2 acres in size and provide practice facilities that are some of the best in the country. They also have installed hundreds of backyard golf greens across the DFW metroplex and beyond.
